Child safety standards
Operated by CueTea. Child safety contact: hello@cuetea.app. Last updated 15 October 2026.
Prohibition of CSAE and CSAM
CueTea has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). Creating, sharing, soliciting, linking to, or storing any CSAM or any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers a minor is strictly prohibited. That includes photos, videos, text, and generated imagery. Anyone who violates this is banned, their content is removed, and we report confirmed CSAM as described below.
Who can use CueTea
CueTea is only for people 18 and older. Sign-up requires a college email (.edu / .edu.xx / .ac.xx) and a 6-digit email code, plus an 18+ confirmation we enforce on the server. We delete accounts we learn belong to anyone under 18.
How to report and block in the app
- Report a post. On any post that is not yours, tap ⋯ → Report. Choose a reason (names or identifies someone, harassment or bullying, sexual content, threat or self-harm, or spam). The report is anonymous; the poster is never told who reported.
- This is about me. If a post is about you, tap ⋯ → This is about me. It is hidden right away while a person reviews it, usually within an hour.
- Report or block a person. On Who added you (Pass admirer list), open their row and tap Report or Block. Report reasons include harassment or threats, fake or impersonation, underage, or something else. Block removes them from your list and stops them finding or adding you both ways. You can also report from a match chat.
You can also email child safety concerns to hello@cuetea.app.
How we review reports
Every in-app report is reviewed by a person. We also screen posts with automated filters before they spread (for example blocking names, handles, emails and phone numbers) and use human review for flagged content. When we find a violation we remove the content, may hide related posts, and may ban the account. CSAE and CSAM are never allowed; confirmed cases are removed and reported.
Zero tolerance and enforcement
We remove CSAM and other child-endangering content as soon as we have actual knowledge of it. Accounts involved are banned. We keep safety records such as reports and blocked-post logs only as long as needed for abuse investigations (up to 90 days), then delete them.
Reporting to NCMEC and authorities
When we have confirmed CSAM, we report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline and to other relevant authorities as required by law. We cooperate with lawful requests related to child safety.
Compliance with child safety laws
CueTea complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations, including requirements to prohibit CSAE, remove CSAM after obtaining actual knowledge of it, and report confirmed CSAM to NCMEC or the relevant regional authority.
